Meet the Founder
Candi C. Cylar is a dedicated ministry leader, strategist, and program developer focused on strengthening Black pastors and congregations. As a key leader in SBC21’s The Black Church Matters initiative, she designs and implements engagement strategies, leadership development programs, and coaching systems to support clergy and church leadership. Candi also plays a vital role in organizing faith-based events. With a passion for community impact, she works on initiatives that enhance ministry effectiveness, foster collaboration, and empower leaders to drive transformation.
Candi is the CEO of The Candi Cylar Agency (CCA), a consulting firm that specializes in leadership development, strategic planning, and organizational effectiveness for churches, nonprofits, and community organizations. Through CCA, she provides coaching, program design, and facilitation to help leaders and institutions thrive.
Candi holds a degree from Tuskegee University and earned her Master of Divinity from Columbia Theological Seminary. She is an ICF-trained coach, assisting leaders in developing their skills and achieving personal and professional growth. She resides in Atlanta, GA, and is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
